Tis sad that this tread was opened so long ago...and yet....like many other things in this world it has been neglected. *sigh* but not forgotten . Perhaps I’ll take a few to emerge from my shadowy hell and reply on this topic.
Vincent is a vampire...and more. Hojo wanted to create something so horrid for the world and for Vincent himself. Being the sadistic donkey that he is, I think that Hojo played with the Jenova cells so that Vincent would live for eternity and that after each battle and or near death experience the cells would mutate and become more....indestructible and beast like. This would explain the different limit breaks throughout the game (would go into more detail but hell too much effort in something that will not be read and probably be spoken to those who care). As for him covering up his body and despite him trying to cover up scars and odd skin deformity, I think that the virus itself is sensitive to the light and in tern makes Vincent’s skin very venerable to the sun...but I assume that many have thought of this...and seeing how I’ve neglected things enough I shall leave my discussion here and allow you ppl to feed off of it. You all take care and perhaps I’ll be able to unshackle myself from my demons to join you all once more.

Yes he bit me and I have the marks to prove it.
Lol, J/K (unless you count the fact I met my boyfriend as a Vincent cosplayer)I don't think he's a *real* vampire, he was just designed with vampiric qualities, and SE likes to tease their fans into obsessive speculations like we do. That's why they have so few clear cut endings, they like us to get all frustrated arguing with each other over possible interpretations.
